Description
- The LMA Proseal Airway Cuff Deflator is a dedicated deflation device
- It is recommended to facilitate complete deflation of the LMA ProSeal Airway
- The cuff deflator ensures completely deflated, smooth leading edge which allows for insertion and avoids deflection of the epiglottis or entry of the tip into the glottis
- The deflator is reusable and autoclavable
- The cuff deflator should be cleaned and sterilised in the same manner as the LMA Proseal

- Lubricate the Posterior LMA Surface
- Slight Flexion of the Head on the Neck Can Help
- How You Hold the LMA Matters
- Open The Mouth As Wide As You Can
- Insert As Far Back as Possible Until It Seats
- Be careful With the Tongue
