- The Levac Vacuum Blood Collection Tubes contains pure grade of EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) additives that help as the best anticoagulation
Uses:
- For complete blood count (CBC) and Full Blood Exam (FBE).
- Haematology determination
- White blood cell (WBC) and platelet count
- Erythrocyte sedimentation rate
- Packed cell volume
- Cross-matching and blood grouping
- The concentration of K3 EDTA is 1.7 ± 0.2 mg/ml of blood
- The cap colour of the tube is Lavender
- These blood collection tubes are UV sterilised

Precautions:
- Recommended storage temperature: 4-25°C
- Invert the tube 8-10 times immediately after drawing the blood
- Erythrocyte, Leucocytes and Thrombocytes should complete in 24 hrs after drawing blood in EDTA tube
- These vacutainer/blood collection tubes are manufactured using sterile glass or plastic with a colored rubber stopper creating a vacuum seal inside of the tube, facilitating the drawing of a predetermined volume of liquid
- They come in a standard packing of 100 tubes per pack
