Description
- The L-Tube single cap non vacuum blood collection tube contains pure grade of EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) additives that helps as a best anticoagulation
Uses:
- Preferred for complete blood count (CBC) and Full Blood Exam (FBE)
- Haematology determination
- White blood cell (WBC) and platelet count
- Erythrocyte sedimentation rate
- Packed cell volume
- Cross matching and blood grouping
- The concentration of K2 EDTA is 1.7 ± 0.2 mg/ml of blood
- These blood collection tubes are UV sterilised
- The cap colour of the tube is Purple
- The L-Tube blood collection tube is available in the Capacity of 2 ml and in the tube size of 13 X 75 mm
Precautions:
- Recommended storage temperature: 4-25°C
- Invert the tube 8-10 times immediately after drawing the blood
- Erythrocyte, Leucocytes and Thrombocytes should complete in 24 hrs after drawing blood in EDTA tube
- They come in a standard packing of 100 tubes per pack
