Dynamic Top Cast Plaster of Paris Bandage BP

The Dynamic Top Cast Plaster is a Plaster of Paris Bandage used for most orthopedic applications in which rigid immobilization is required, including fresh or unstable fractures.

Skin-Friendly & Smooth: Leno cloth ensures minimal fraying and loose threads giving a smooth inside surface and uniform thickness to the cast

Direction To Use:-

• Apply appropriate padding (TOP BAN) or cotton stockinette (TOP C NET) on the fractured area to protect the skin while applying the Top Cast Plaster of Paris Bandage
• Dip the Top Cast bandage for 3 seconds in bucket of water
• Squeeze gently and apply on the fractured area
• The plaster is easily molded, so it conforms closely to the body part to which it is being applied
• The plaster can only be worked for a period of 3-5 minute depending on water temperature
• The initial setting time takes 10-12 minutes. The required time for complete setting, and if allowed first permissibility for weight bearing is 24-48 hours depending on the thickness of the cast
