Description
VascuGraft PTFE vascular prosthesis are made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to create a microporous vascular implant with a sophisticated structure: V-shaped pore with a 60m outside diameter and a 20m interior diameter. VascuGraft PTFE has a kink-resistant architecture that is porous enough to stimulate cellular in-growth while providing maximal protection against blood loss, suture pullout, ripping, and delamination.
VascuGraft PTFE's technologically advanced construction also protects the prosthesis from kinking or twisting once it is implanted. A detachable, continuous spiral PTFE monofilament is included with Helix supported grafts for added compression resistance. For usage in particular hemodynamic situations, tapered, short taper, and graduated taper variants are provided.
